Business Analyst Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the PM to conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, etc.
- Translate business needs and requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business stakeholders, and end-users.
- Enforce and monitor that SDLC controls required per SOX Compliance are adhered to within the life of the project.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
- Ensure business needs are met while managing scope creep and competing priorities.
- Design and document solutions to address business needs and problems.
- Leverage familiarity and experience with an application or process to contribute and influence high-level business strategies.
- Identify and assess risks and optimization opportunities in existing projects, IT applications, or business processes.
Business Analyst Skills & Requirements:
- JIRA
- Agile experience preferred.
- Lucid chart / Visio or equivalent experience required.
- UI/UX
- Ticket creation and management
- Process diagramming
