System Administrator I – Security Operations Oklahoma City, OK
Titan Professional Resources is looking for a System Administration to assist in security operations for a great company here in the OKC area. System Administrator Duties AND Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor IT systems, including servers, applications, etc.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new systems and applications.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide technical support to end-users and respond to help desk tickets.
- Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Assist in cybersecurity operations, including monitoring security breaches and responding to incidents.
System Administrator Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and hardware components.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, antivirus software) is a plus.
