Web Developer Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate business processes and user needs; collaborate with end users to determine system requirements and develop detailed project plans, including timelines and deliverables.
- Design, program, test, and implement custom application solutions that align with defined business objectives.
- Conduct or coordinate various levels of testing such as user acceptance, stress, regression, and system integration; apply modifications and enhancements as required.
- Develop alternative system and process designs for core components under review.
- Create and structure user interfaces and output formats to ensure usability and alignment with organizational standards.
- Assess dependencies within applications to evaluate the impact of code or system changes across integrated systems.
- Deliver comprehensive project outputs including analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing system maintenance to resolve complex business challenges.
- Prepare technical documentation to support the deployment and maintenance of new or modified systems.
- Participate in code reviews, system walkthroughs, and knowledge-sharing sessions; provide user support and training as necessary.
- Monitor, update, and maintain applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Web Developer Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in computer applications development or systems programming. (Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.)
- Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and project goals.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and software development methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management practices and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and innovation in application development.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
