We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented IT Asset Inventory Manager to support a statewide technology asset verification initiative. This role involves traveling to various sites within a designated region of Oklahoma to identify, tag, and document IT-related equipment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to assigned facilities across Oklahoma to conduct on-site equipment audits.
  • Visually inspect and accurately identify IT, telecommunications, audiovisual, and electronic assets.
  • Record asset details in a standardized inventory template, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all required data fields.
  • Tag assets in accordance with established organizational standards and guidelines.
  • Submit timely reports and inventory data to the project supervisor upon completion of each location.
  • Notify the project lead of any challenges related to access, safety, or equipment functionality encountered during visits.
  • Safeguard and properly maintain assigned tools, devices, and any state-issued vehicle used during the assignment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional training or certifications in IT or technical fields are a plus.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Basic knowledge of IT hardware, telecom devices, and AV equipment with the ability to distinguish and document various asset types.
  • Ability to work independently, follow structured procedures, and manage time effectively in the field.
  • Possession of a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and current auto insurance meeting state requirements.
  • Physically able to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the state; overnight accommodations will be arranged and covered as necessary.
