An expanding company in Oklahoma City is seeking to hire an operations manager to join their leadership team. You will oversee providing inspired leadership for the operation of one of our organization’s lines of business, which involves making important policy and strategic decisions, as well as the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures. Operations Manager Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with operations management to understand skills and experience needed for available positions, to ensure position descriptions and recruiting efforts attract qualified candidates.
  • Monitor status and progress of open positions and collaborate with Human Resources and create changes to increase candidate volume.
  • Communicate with outside staffing partners on behalf of operations management, as needed.
  • Work with management and Human Resources to implement metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of management’s operational processes for hiring.
  • Works with operations management to evaluate the results of new hire surveys, exit interviews, assess how the outcomes may be impacted by the hiring process, and identify potential improvements.

Operations Manager Skills and Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of operations management or resource management
  • At least 8 years’ experience hiring and developing multiple levels of employees.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, Organizational Development/Leadership, or related field
  • Experience in developing strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success with project management.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, problem solving & analytical skills.
