Human Resources Assistant Responsibilities:
- Maintain professional image of the Human Resources Office with faculty, staff, and the public.
- Assist the Benefits Team.
- Communicate with employees and retirees by responding to routine benefits questions as directed.
- Organize and scan documents on behalf of the Benefits Team.
- Check HR Benefits emails and forward as necessary.
- Assist with benefits orientation as needed.
- Generate timely response communication to staff, faculty, retirees or vendors.
- Coordinate and schedule employee and retiree appointments with Benefits Manager.
- Perform administrative tasks as necessary.
Human Resources Assistant Qualifications:
- Abide by the policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a safe educational & working environment.
- Strong knowledge of benefits.
- General knowledge of HR practices.
- Strong MS Office and Excel skills.
