Litigation Paralegal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, etc.
- Investigate facts by reviewing documents, interviewing, researching, etc.
- Coordinator conventional and electronic filing of pleadings, motions, etc.
- Arrange and coordinate service of subpoenas.
- Gather relevant documents and potential exhibits.
- Summarize testimonies from depositions.
- Assist in scheduling and preparing witnesses.
Litigation Paralegal Skills and Requirements:
- Degree considered as well as experience.
- Ability to interpret legal documents.
- Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from various people.
- Mathematically inclined.
- Reasoning skills.
