Return Configuration Technician Responsibilities:
- Process returned IT equipment for repair, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), re-use, recycling, or internal solutions
- Communicate with our customers to facilitate the return of IT equipment
- Collaborate and work with other configuration technicians to complete group projects or tasks
- Stage, configure and teardown IT equipment in staging labs for projects
- Assist Technician II’s with monitoring and fulfilling internal tickets for IT equipment configuration requests
- Ensure IT assets are accurately tracked in asset management software
- Assist with inventory and warehouse management as needed.
- Other duties assigned as needed
Return Configuration Technician Education and Experience:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- CompTIA A+ preferred
- General understanding of desktop computers and laptops
- General understanding of Windows OS and software installation
- General understanding of Android and iOS devices including tablets and phones
- Preferred one-year technical support, IT equipment configuration, or equivalent experience
