System Administrator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new systems and applications.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide technical support to end-users and respond to help desk tickets.
- Ensure system security by implementing and maintaining security measures.
- Assist in cybersecurity operations, including monitoring security breaches and responding to incidents
System Administrator Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and hardware components.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with SaaS applications and cloud-based solutions.
- Ability to manage and support SaaS applications and user accounts.
