We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Proposal Writer to join a fast-paced, high-energy team here in the OKC area. Proposal Writer Key Responsibilities:
- Write, edit, and format high-quality company and sales proposals using Adobe InDesign.
- Analyze RFPs quickly and identify key requirements — focusing on the 4-5 most critical elements rather than getting bogged down in every word.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather and synthesize proposal content.
- Organize and manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Use Microsoft Excel to format cost sheets, timelines, or other supporting proposal documents.
- Support the development of proposal templates, graphics, and presentations.
- Learn and contribute to federal proposal efforts as needed (training will be provided).
- Take initiative, work independently, and jump into fast-moving tasks with limited direction when necessary.
Proposal Writer Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience writing proposals or technical documentation (sales, marketing, government, or corporate proposals preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to interpret and distill RFPs and RFIs quickly and accurately.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, high-energy team that juggles multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated and resourceful.
