Senior Staff Accountant Manager Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and accounting schedules.

Ensure timely reconciliation of general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Assist with corporate tax return preparation and coordinate with external tax advisors as required.

Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.

Actively manage and contribute to special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives.

Train, mentor, and support junior accounting staff, including onboarding and ongoing professional development.

Collaborate regularly with internal departments and management to provide financial insight and clarify reporting issues.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable accounting standards.

Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for data management, analysis, and reporting.
Senior Staff Accountant Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

Minimum GPA of 3.2 preferred. Candidates with a GPA of 3.0 may be considered for contract or temporary roles if accounting coursework is strong.

At least 3–5 years of corporate accounting experience, with prior supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation) is essential.

Prior experience in a corporate accounting environment required; candidates from small office settings may not be ideal for this role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
