Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile invoices, payments, and account balances to ensure proper recordkeeping
- Assist with billing, collections, and vendor payments
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data analysis
- Support general accounting functions, including data entry, document preparation, and financial record maintenance
- Assist with basic reporting and provide support during month-end processes
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks related to accounting operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure workflows remain efficient and deadlines are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR equivalent hands-on accounting experience
- Familiarity with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable processes
- Experience working in a small or mid-sized business environment is a plus
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel required
- Strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with financial data
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to support a variety of responsibilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
