Accounts Receivable Clerk Responsibilities:

  •  Responsible for entering vendor invoices into computer system, checking that payments have been authorized
  • Ability to reconcile vendor statements to invoices that are posted and authorized for payment along with reconciling accounts on the schedule that cannot be verified by a vendor statement or invoice
  • Maintain authorized vendor list, accounts payable reports, files and spreadsheets
  • Ability to reconcile sublet schedule and investigate missing vendor invoices and charges that are not work-in-process or overaged
  • Communicate with vendors and answer all inquiries
  • Responsible for printing checks, obtaining signatures, and distributing checks
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Accounts Receivable Clerk Requirements:

  • Ability to type, ten key and knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a wide range of individuals
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of people and projects
  • Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules
  • Strong PC skills
  • Basic office knowledge such as copier, facsimile, 10 key, typing, etc.
  • Willingness to continue professional development
