Titan Professional Resources is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join one of our clients in OKC. This is a hands-on role supporting a new Snowflake Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and serving as a bridge between the technical data team and business users. The Analytics Engineer will organize and model data into trusted, reusable datasets that can be used for reporting, Power BI, and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain analytical data models within Snowflake.
- Transform raw data into trusted, reusable datasets for reporting and analytics.
- Design and maintain dimensional data models, including facts, dimensions, and conformed dimensions.
- Develop enterprise metrics and standardized data models to support business needs.
- Build reporting-ready datasets for Power BI and other analytical tools.
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
- Perform data testing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
- Work directly with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and well-designed analytical models.
- Document data models, processes, definitions, and technical solutions.
- Follow structured source control and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other technical teams to ensure analytical models are reliable and scalable.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and help identify appropriate solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Advanced SQL development skills.
- Experience in analytics engineering and data warehousing.
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling.
- Experience working with facts, dimensions, conformed dimensions, and enterprise metrics.
- Experience building reusable analytical datasets and data models.
- Experience with data testing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Strong documentation and source control practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work directly with business users and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
