Applications Analyst Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current systems and workflows to recommend improvements and design enhancements.
- Provide technical evaluations of new software solutions, including performance, reliability, deployment, and maintenance requirements.
- Assess hardware/software combinations and offer best-practice recommendations.
- Support deployment strategies and operational readiness for new applications.
- Collaborate with design teams to conduct structured testing and document outcomes.
- Maintain accurate architecture documentation to support service transitions and operations.
- Plan and execute software patches and upgrades for assigned systems.
- Develop and deliver training using blended learning approaches based on adult learning principles.
Applications Analyst Qualifications:
- Boomi Certification required. (Boomi is a cloud-native integration platform for connecting applications, data, and processes.)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree with 4+ years, or 6+ years of direct experience.
- Experience with financial, clinical, or enterprise systems preferred.
- Strong communication skills across various formats and audiences.
- ITIL certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Must be proficient in English (verbal and written).
