Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain high availability, security, and performance of enterprise network and hosted environments.
- Support incident response, troubleshoot complex outages, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Design, implement, and improve network infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments.
- Maintain working knowledge of interconnected systems including servers, applications, databases, and networking.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert in one or more networking disciplines such as routing/switching, firewalls, cloud networking, VOIP, wireless, or datacenter technologies.
- Assess existing infrastructure for security, compliance, licensing, and performance issues and implement corrective actions.
- Evaluate, test, and integrate new networking technologies in collaboration with vendors.
- Lead network initiatives from planning through deployment, documentation, and operational handoff.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless access points, VOIP systems, and monitoring tools.
- Design and support Azure networking, including virtual networks, network security groups, and site‑to‑site IPSec VPN tunnels.
- Provide technical knowledge transfer and act as a final escalation point for specialized network solutions.
