Titan Professional Resources is seeking an experienced Cognos Developer to provide development and reporting support for one of our clients. This is a remote, part-time contract opportunity offering approximately 20 hours per week at around $50/hour. The role offers a flexible schedule, including nights and after-hours, and is ideal for an experienced Cognos Developer looking for ongoing contract work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and maintain Cognos reports
- Support and troubleshoot existing Cognos reporting
- Make enhancements and changes to existing reports and reporting solutions
- Work with business users to understand reporting needs
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries as needed
- Assist with Cognos data models and reporting infrastructure
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Work independently with limited direction
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on IBM Cognos development experience
- Experience developing and maintaining Cognos reports
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Cognos Analytics, Report Studio, Framework Manager, or similar Cognos tools preferred
- Ability to work independently with limited direction
- Ability to commit approximately 20 hours per week
- Availability outside normal business hours is a plus
