Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Provide leadership, training, and oversight to accounting staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, while tracking and evaluating key performance indicators.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis efforts to support business planning.
- Monitor cash flow, review funding needs, and oversee recurring payment processes.
- Administer customer credit policies and address escalated collections issues when necessary.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of applicable business taxes and completion of reconciliations.
- Conduct detailed transaction reviews, research discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues.
- Participate in and support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry approvals.
- Review and post financial transactions such as journal entries and deposits.
- Handle international financial transactions when applicable.
- Evaluate current accounting practices, recommend improvements, and implement process enhancements.
- Provide cross-functional support for other accounting roles as needed.
- Contribute to special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

- Advanced problem-solving capabilities and strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis and financial research.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Skilled in 10-key data entry by touch.
- Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts, including percentages and financial calculations.
