Desktop Support Lead

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the desktop support team.
  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
  • Mentor team members and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Ensure timely resolution of escalated support tickets and maintain service level standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve support processes and user experience.
  • Create and maintain documentation, workflows, templates, and diagrams using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Utilize Jira and Confluence for issue tracking and knowledge management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in desktop support or related IT roles.
  • Proven leadership experience in a technical support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio for diagramming and workflow creation.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence platforms.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
