Key Responsibilities
- Load and maintain pay decks accurately within the system to ensure correct revenue distribution
- Assist with monthly Joint Interest Billing (JIB) processes, including validation and reconciliation
- Support regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with state (Texas) and federal guidelines
- Maintain and update ownership records and division orders as needed
- Collaborate with accounting, land, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies
- Perform data analysis and auditing of ownership and revenue information
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data within the Quorum system
- Assist with process improvements and documentation of procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in a Division Order, Revenue Accounting, or similar oil & gas role
- Software: Required experience with Quorum software
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of Texas oil & gas regulations and practices
- Familiarity with pay decks, JIB billing, and ownership structures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
