We are seeking an experienced Driver Recruiter to join a fast-paced recruiting team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume recruiting environment and enjoys building relationships while managing a steady pipeline of candidates. Recruiters with experience in transportation, staffing, healthcare staffing, or other high-volume recruiting environments are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and manage Company Driver and Contract Operator candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for applicants, providing accurate information and setting clear expectations.
- Maintain and manage candidate pipelines using an applicant tracking system, ensuring timely follow-up and documentation.
- Partner with internal departments to efficiently qualify candidates and facilitate the hiring process.
- Communicate regularly with hiring managers and operations teams to support recruiting objectives.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness.
- Meet recruiting goals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional recruiting experience required.
- Previous driver recruiting or transportation recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in staffing, healthcare staffing, or other high-volume recruiting environments is highly desired.
- Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems; experience with Tenstreet or similar ATS platforms is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accurate data entry abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to occasionally work extended hours or weekends as business needs require.
