Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the onboarding process for new employees, with a primary focus on driver and operational roles
- Implement and maintain human resources policies, procedures, training programs, and compliance initiatives
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, compensation programs, leave management, and disciplinary processes
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and facilitate effective employee relations
- Support the management of workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with external vendors and service providers
- Supervise and mentor a team of 1–2 human resources professionals, providing guidance and performance support
- Perform additional human resources duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist, Manager, or similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing and developing HR staff
- Prior HR experience within a mid-sized organization
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and best practices
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
