IT Support Technician Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 platforms, including installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Support Microsoft Office Suite applications, ensuring smooth functionality for end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain printers, ensuring operational readiness and resolving hardware/software issues.
- Deliver audio/video support for conference rooms, company meetings, and special events.
- Perform installation of layer 1 cabling to support network infrastructure.
- Provide remote PC support, including connectivity troubleshooting and mobile device support (Apple iOS and Android) for remote sales teams.
- Manage IT inventory, including hardware and software tracking, procurement, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with colleagues and end-users to resolve technical issues promptly and professionally.
- Document support activities, solutions, and maintain accurate records for future reference.
IT Support Technician Minimum Qualifications
- At least two years of IT technical support experience, with professional references.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Windows platforms (10 and 11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with printer installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of audio/video systems and conference room technology.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot layer 1 cabling.
- Experience providing remote support for PCs, mobile devices, and connectivity issues.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills with a cooperative, professional, and detail-oriented approach to assisting others.
