Titan Professional Resources is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to support server, network, and datacenter operations for our client. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, proactive, and comfortable working across multiple technical environments.
Systems Administrator Primary Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Windows and Linux servers across various environments.
- Manage virtualization platforms, including provisioning, performance tuning, and snapshot management.
- Oversee Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity access functions.
- Handle OS, firmware, and application updates and lifecycle tasks.
- Assist with onsite infrastructure such as racks, cabling, PDUs, and environmental systems.
- Coordinate hardware installs, replacements, and RMA handling.
- Contribute to planning for compute, storage, and networking capacity.
- Provide support for switches, firewalls, routing, VLANs, and VPN connectivity.
- Manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Develop scripts and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to improve efficiency.
- Review system performance and recommend optimizations.
- Provide Tier 2/3 escalation support.
Systems Administrator Qualifications
- Experience managing user accounts, groups, and permissions in Microsoft Entra ID.
- Strong background in Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper‑V, Proxmox, or similar virtualization platforms.
- Understanding of networking essentials (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewall concepts).
- Familiarity with server hardware, storage systems, and datacenter equipment.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Ability to move/lift equipment within a datacenter setting.
