We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to support and manage a global network infrastructure. This role is responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing network systems across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise-scale environments, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to network security and system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain switches, wireless access points, and firewall hardware across global locations
- Monitor and support WAN, LAN, and server infrastructure
- Oversee DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and network segmentation
- Respond to system outages, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes
- Assist with firewall management, VPN configuration, and cybersecurity tools
- Support physical security systems and IT power/cooling infrastructure
- Participate in planning, installation, and deployment of new hardware solutions
- Help implement and maintain network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
- Communicate planned maintenance windows, service interruptions, and system restorations to users
- Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in an on-call support rotation
Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of Network Engineering or Network Administration experience in enterprise-scale environments
- Relevant certifications preferred, such as Network+, Security+, MCSA, or similar
- Strong experience with CLI switch administration and firewall management
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP subnetting and network architecture
- Knowledge of routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
- Understanding of the TCP/IP and OSI models
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless networking standards (802.11)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data privacy standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with helpdesk systems, SLAs, and support contracts
