Process Writer Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write new and revise documentation relevant to job functions and processes.
  • Consult with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to accurately record job functions.
  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, forms, trackers, training information, and other necessary documentation.
  • Keep all documentation up to date following ISO 9001/API standards.
  • Review current documentation and recommend revisions, changes in scope, format, content, etc.
  • Update training documentation as needed.
  • Collect approval signatures on all relevant documentation.
  • Performs research from multiple sources and generates reports and analysis based on data collected.
  • Investigates process for improvement or documented accuracy.

Process Writer Skills and Requirements:  

  • Strong writing skills using proper spelling, grammar, and sentence structure.
  • Ability to explain technical ideas in simplistic language.
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Intermediate to advanced skill with Adobe Acrobat Standard.
  • Ability to engage in scanning, record keeping, filing, and other administrative duties.
  • Strong Problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and multiple environments.
