Titan Professional Resources is seeking a Receptionist to join one of our clients in the Oklahoma City area! This position is responsible for providing exceptional front-office support, assisting patients throughout their visit, scheduling appointments, answering calls, and managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments both in person and over the phone.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions and requests.
- Monitor lab faxes for incoming frame orders, delays, and order updates.
- Check in arriving glasses and contact orders and verify order statuses.
- Follow up on overdue orders and notify patients when glasses or contacts are ready for pickup.
- Remind patients of outstanding balances or payments required to begin orders.
- Review previous-day production and payment reports at the start of each day.
- Prepare and organize patient charts for upcoming appointments during slower periods.
- Verify insurance benefits and document applicable copays and coverage information.
- Contact patients regarding insurance or benefit-related issues when needed.
- Complete end-of-day reconciliation by comparing production reports, payment records, and credit card totals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.
- Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred.
- Medical or optometry office experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, polished, and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
