Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of the organization’s Risk Management Program.
- Assist in documenting process flows and identifying, assessing, and documenting associated risks and internal controls.
- Contribute to the preparation of independent analyses that provide insight into risk exposure and mitigation strategies.
- Evaluate and monitor GRC frameworks to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with regulatory expectations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to assess control effectiveness and strengthen risk management practices.
- Facilitate risk assessments for products, vendors, and internal projects; develop and track mitigation plans.
- Maintain and update the organization’s risk register, including metrics such as likelihood, impact, and residual risk.
- Produce risk reports, dashboards, and heatmaps for leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
- Design and develop automated dashboards and reporting tools using business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to monitor financial and operational risk performance.
- Perform other job-related duties, special projects, and assignments as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrated quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities, including problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in technology and data analysis tools.
- Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly preferred.
