Security Analyst Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to security incidents and provide technical support.
- Evaluate systems and recommend improvements.
- Maintain and enhance security infrastructure and procedures.
- Configure and manage operating systems, applications, and security tools.
- Communicate with staff, vendors, and leadership on security matters.
- Enforce security frameworks and ensure compliance across teams.
- Support acquisition and divestiture activities from a security perspective.
- Monitor and manage security alerts and ticket queues.
- Administer tools such as FortiSIEM, EDR/XDR, Mimecast, KnowBe4, and Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance.
- Travel to local and remote sites as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Security Analyst Skills & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Training in CompTIA Security+ and network routing/switching.
- Minimum of 1 year supporting or managing complex IT/security systems preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and user-friendly approach.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Proficiency in SIEM, Mimecast, and KnowBe4 administration.
- Familiarity with drafting and implementing company policies.
