Titan Professional Resources is seeking a Back End Software Developer to join one of our clients here in OKC! This role is focused heavily on backend SQL development, with an emphasis on T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, and database performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend code to support business requirements and application functionality
- Write and modify complex stored procedures using T-SQL
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and database performance
- Develop and test database code using the tSQLt testing framework
- Research and understand existing and legacy code, systems, processes, and workflows
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in technical code reviews and address logic, performance, and coding standard concerns
- Work with management and project coordinators to prioritize development work
- Estimate development efforts and track progress through an online ticketing system
- Collaborate with other IT teams and service providers
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other developers
- Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Qualifications
- Strong backend SQL development experience; this is not a general software development role
- Strong experience with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
- Expertise writing and modifying complex stored procedures
- Strong SQL performance tuning and optimization skills
- Experience with the tSQLt testing framework
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps, including source control, pull requests, branching, and deployment pipelines
- Experience troubleshooting and analyzing complex existing code
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Ability to learn new technologies and understand unfamiliar systems
- Senior-level experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and mentor other developers
