Titan Professional Resources is seeking a Middle Layer Software Developer to join one of our clients here in OKC! This role focuses on API development, business logic, and data access using C# and .NET 6+, with an emphasis on REST APIs, Dapper, and SQL Server integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop middle-layer API code to support business requirements and application functionality
- Build and consume REST APIs using C# and .NET 6+
- Implement business logic and data access using Dapper and SQL Server
- Develop paginated API endpoints with appropriate error handling and logging
- Schedule and maintain recurring and background jobs using Hangfire
- Work with JSON serialization and LINQ
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Research and understand existing and complex code, systems, processes, and workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Participate in technical code reviews and address logic, performance, and coding standard concerns
- Work with management and project coordinators to prioritize development work
- Estimate development efforts and track progress through an online ticketing system
- Collaborate with other IT teams and service providers
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other developers
- Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
Qualifications
- Strong middle-layer/API development experience
- Strong experience with C# and .NET 6+
- Extensive REST API development and integration experience
- Experience with Dapper for SQL Server data access
- Strong knowledge of LINQ and JSON
- Experience with Hangfire for recurring and background jobs
- Experience with Git and Azure DevOps, including source control, pull requests, branching, and deployment pipelines
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, or Insomnia
- Experience working with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to research and understand complex existing code
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Senior-level experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and mentor other developers
