Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud architectures for enterprise applications.
- Lead the migration of legacy applications and infrastructure into modern AWS environments using cloud-native best practices.
- Develop architectural blueprints and technical designs that leverage core AWS services, networking, security, and storage solutions.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources across multiple environments.
- Design, deploy, and support Kubernetes clusters while leading the migration of workloads from Nomad to Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend AWS services, cloud technologies, and architectural approaches that improve performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Implement cloud security, IAM, networking, monitoring, and data protection strategies following AWS best practices.
- Support DevOps initiatives by building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure with a focus on availability, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Establish and promote cloud governance, architectural standards, and AWS best practices across the organization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship while partnering with cloud engineering, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
Position Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience creating solutions across various software platforms in an enterprise environment.
- Proven background in technical design and architecture.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and modern design patterns.
- Proficiency in Java or C# development.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and version control systems.
- Familiarity with implementing security, data protection, and storage solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in a financial or enterprise-level institution.
- Hands-on experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Applied experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of agile development tools (Jira, Trello, Git) is a plus.
- Experience with data migration, transformations, and scripting.
