Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end close
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Perform account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate general ledger records
- Support internal and external auditing activities by providing documentation and explanations as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, policies, and internal controls
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within accounting functions
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting
- Demonstrated experience working with financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations
- Solid understanding of auditing principles and procedures
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in a senior or advanced accounting role
- CPA or CPA-track designation (preferred but not required)
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems
