Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with BIM team members and engineers to produce accurate drafting for a variety of structural systems
- Develop and maintain detailed 3D models of existing structures using Revit
- Assist in the preparation of clear, precise construction documents utilizing Revit, under guidance from senior staff
- Support the creation of construction documents using AutoCAD, with mentorship provided as needed
- Maintain quality standards by tracking and documenting design updates, revisions, and review notes
- Submit completed work for review and incorporate feedback from senior BIM and engineering team members
- Address review comments in a timely and accurate manner
- Provide support to team members on additional project tasks as needed
- Manage assignments across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met
- Utilize available IT systems and tools to organize and track project workflows
- Communicate effectively with other disciplines to address project-related questions and coordination needs
- Participate in internal team meetings, training sessions, and project coordination meetings
- Assist with construction site visits and observations as required
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Drafting or a related field (completed or in progress)
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; training will be provided
- Experience working with Revit required
- Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage work across multiple tasks and projects
- Willingness to learn and grow within a technical, team-oriented environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams using various communication platforms
