Technical Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle escalated technical support requests and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
  • Manage and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualization platforms (e.g., Hyper-V).
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, switches, and network infrastructure.
  • Assist with client onboarding and deployment of IT solutions.
  • Document procedures, solutions, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers for issue resolution.
  • Participate in after-hours support rotation and respond to critical incidents.
  • Mentor junior technicians and contribute to internal knowledge resources.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 cloud services (e.g., Entra, Purview) and platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
  • Experience with RMM and PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, Datto, NinjaOne).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft) preferred.
