Titan Professional Resources is seeking a Purchasing Rep / Temp Buyer professional to join one of our clients here in OKC. This position will oversee the procurement of production and non-production materials, services, tooling, and capital equipment while working closely with suppliers and internal teams to support quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
Responsibilities
- Purchase materials, supplies, tooling, and services used in manufacturing.
- Manage supplier selection, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships to improve delivery performance, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to address quality-related issues.
- Stay informed on industry trends, technology updates, and supply chain developments.
- Coordinate supplier-led training with cross-functional departments to improve supply chain knowledge.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience with Epicor or a similar ERP system.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and prevention skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred.
- APICS or ISM certification is a plus.
- Ability to travel approximately 15%.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and odors.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for 8–10 hours per day.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
