Titan Professional Resources is seeking an experienced Treasury & Shareholder Relations Specialist to join one of our clients! This position supports financial accounting and treasury operations, with a strong focus on cash management, debt management, banking relationships, and shareholder relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage banking relationships, bank account administration, and related banking documentation.
- Maintain bank signer records and oversee the opening and closing of bank accounts.
- Manage global cash management operations, including daily cash positions across multiple entities and accounts.
- Prepare, analyze, and optimize cash forecasts while identifying opportunities to improve cash management.
- Manage debt portfolios and ensure compliance with applicable covenants and obligations.
- Manage Letters of Credit and maintain sufficient capacity to support future business needs.
- Provide debt portfolio projections to support long-term acquisition and organic growth planning.
- Provide guidance to accounting teams to ensure transactions are accurately and timely recorded.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives related to treasury and accounting functions.
- Collaborate with accounting, legal, IT, and other departments on treasury-related projects.
- Assist with the selection and implementation of accounting and treasury systems.
- Maintain process documentation and ensure appropriate internal cash controls are established and followed.
- Maintain the monthly capital table and reconcile member equity general ledger accounts.
- Calculate quarterly and annual distribution true-ups for each member.
- Manage debt servicing for minority partners, including interest and principal calculations.
- Maintain documentation and procedures related to the shareholder lifecycle.
- Coordinate ownership issuances, puts, calls, and final repurchases of company units.
- Manage funding associated with each stage of the shareholder lifecycle.
- Communicate regularly with shareholders regarding processes, required documentation, tax reporting, and ownership-related matters.
- Communicate K-1 components, profits, interest costs, amortization, and other applicable tax impacts of ownership.
- Participate in partner calls, seminars, and training opportunities as needed.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of previous technical accounting experience preferred.
- 3+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or CTP designation preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting research.
- Experience with intercompany eliminations and consolidations.
- Strong understanding of treasury, cash management, and debt management functions.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and work effectively with others.
